Commissions

Woman standing in an art gallery pointing at paintings on a white wall.

I take on a limited number of commissions at a time so each painting receives the attention it deserves.

I work in oil on canvas and watercolor on acid-free archival paper, in a range of sizes.

Subject matter I love:

Every commission starts with a conversation. I want to understand your moment, your vision, and what you want this piece to feel like.

How it works:

  1. Reach out

Send me a message through the contact form or email audrey@audreyparkerartist.com. Tell me what you have in mind, and share any photos or inspiration. Don’t worry if they’re not perfect. I welcome photos that are blurry, dark, candid, and intimate.

  2. We talk details

I’ll follow up with a few questions about size, medium, color palette, and tone. From there I’ll send you a quote.

  3. We get started

A 30% deposit begin the process. I’ll keep you updated as the work develops and share progress photos along the way. You have two rounds of revisions to make sure the piece feels right.

  4. You receive your painting

Final payment is due at completion. Then it’s yours - to hang, to gift, to keep and cherish forever.

Pricing

Commissions are priced based on size and complexity. Commissions start at $150 for the smallest size. Reach out for a custom quote. I’m happy to work within a range when I can.

FAQs

What photos do you need?

1

Birth Portraits are hand-painted commissions made from photos taken around the time of your baby’s arrival (labor, delivery, those golden hours). I take the raw, real, imperfect images from then and transform them into a painting your family will treasure for generations. They make extraordinary gifts for new parents, grandparents, or yourself. More about Birth Portraits here

What are Birth Portraits?

2

Just send what you have. I regularly work from phone photos, low-light hospital images, blurry and candid shots. If you have a question about your reference image, please reach out at audrey@audreyparkerartist.com

How long does a commission take?

3

Turnaround varies by size and complexity. I’ll give you a clear timeline before we begin. Typical is 6-8 weeks.

Do you ship?

4

Yes. I offer secure shipping through USPS and UPS within the United States. Please indicate if shipping is needed when reaching out, and I will include it in your personalized quote.

Can I give a commission as a gift?

5

Absolutely! It’s one of the most common reasons people reach out. I can work with you on timing and packaging to make it a special reveal.
